![]() Unknown appears as a rival unit in the tactical role-playing game Project X Zone 2. Unknown then closes her eyes as she descends downwards into the depths of water, cleansed of the purple slime that had clung to her. Unknown is now almost fully bare as Angel absorbs the evil. The slime on her body slowly begins to wash away in front of Angel as the evil is expelled. Unknown then bends backwards after being touched by Angel. Angel's purity strips Unknown of her evil powers. Angel then gently touches one of Unknown's hands while smiling. Then, Angel suddenly appears and reaches a hand out towards Unknown. Unknown is seen slowly falling unconscious into deep water. Nothing at all is known about this mysterious fighter. She acts as Jun Kazama's final form after a transformation sequence before the final round of the game's Arcade Mode. Unknown returns as the final boss of Tekken Tag Tournament 2 without her Wolf Spirit. She lands face down on the ground, then slowly lifts herself up with a slight smile on her face as she knows she has escaped the grasp of the evil spirit. The screen then shows Unknown raging inside it, before she manages to tear herself free of the spirit's body, breaking out from its possession. Seconds later, the spirit is shown developing legs, indicating that Unknown has become fully consumed within the body of the spirit. As she tries to free her arm, the spirit grabs her body and absorbs her. She then strikes it in the torso, and her arm gets stuck in the spirit's body. It then attempts to hit her, but misses as Unknown ducks. Suddenly, she senses the evil Wolf Spirit behind her. It then changes to a side view of Unknown. The screen shows Unknown blinking, and focuses in on one of her eyes. Tekken Tag Tournament HD - Unknown ending Unknown made her first appearance as the final boss of Tekken Tag Tournament. The second outfit has her dressed in a dirty and tattered dress with her hands and legs in bandages. Unknown's main outfit has her naked, and only covered with the purple slime. In Tekken Tag Tournament she is accompanied by a Wolf Spirit which mimics her movements, giving the impression that it is controlling her actions. She has the Devil Gene mark on her right arm, a symbol shared with her son. She has shoulder-length dark hair and glowing, yellow eyes. Unknown resembles Jun Kazama, though has purple slime coating her otherwise naked body. However, Unknown does not seem to be entirely evil or devoid of emotion, as she is still shown to be protective and caring of Jin in Ogre's Tekken Tag Tournament ending, implying that some of the kind nature of Jun is able to overcome the dark powers that control her. Unknown shows little in the way of personality, being a silent and enigmatic character who interacts little with the other fighters. This has not been confirmed as canon to the main series' story. Unknown is then fought in the second round of the match. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 later confirmed suspicions that Jun and Unknown were the same person: when the player reaches the final battle, Jun is fought in the first round, before transforming into Unknown upon defeat. Her apparent independent and selfless intervention on the behalf of Jin furthers suspicions that she is Jin's lost mother, Jun Kazama. It is implied that the two engage in a fight, and Unknown is seen without the Wolf Spirit. In this ending, Ogre has defeated Jin Kazama, and he is about to consume Jin's soul. Unknown also appears in Ogre's Tekken Tag Tournament ending. This, in addition to their similar features, led many to believe that Unknown is a possessed Jun Kazama. In Tekken Tag Tournament, Unknown starts with the fighting style of Jun Kazama at the onset of every battle. Ģ8 October 2009 The Jun Kazama/Unknown Controversy A Limited Edition version of Tekken 6 was released in September 2009, and an artbook which was part of the package revealed that Unknown was originally supposed to be Jun Kazama's sister by the name of Hitomi ( 仁美, Hitomi ?), but this story arc was dropped when Tekken Tag Tournament became a non-canon spin-off game. The comic book Tekken Forever was meant to explain who Unknown was, but it was canceled after only one issue. Since Tekken Tag Tournament's release, Namco has not provided any clear explanation on Unknown. Unknown returns in Tekken Tag Tournament 2, this time without the Wolf Spirit, implying that she was able to escape the spirits control at the end of the first Tag Tournament. The creature accompanies her in battle and mimics Unknown's moves and actions, possibly as it controls her actions. Little is known of Unknown's origins, yet it seems as though a creature resembling a Wolf Spirit possessed her for its own purpose, which is to complete itself, as shown in Unknown's Tekken Tag Tournament ending.
